Minnesota’s Senate Districts

A senate district (SD), is a territorial division from which a senator is elected. The State of Minnesota is divided into 67 senate districts. Our Senate District 37 includes the cities of Blaine, part of Coon Rapids and part of Spring Lake Park. Each senate district elects a senator who represents the residents of the district at the state capitol in St. Paul. The length of terms for Minnesota state senators is four years when elected in years ending in 2 and 6, and two years when elected in years ending in 0.
